Primaries are for your hopes and dreams, and general elections are for beating the fucking fascists.

@indivisibleteam Unless you're in California which uses a jungle primary for the governor's race, with 12 Democrats and 2 GOPs in the race. If every Dem "votes their heart", Dems will split the vote among 12 candidates and we'll end up with 2 Republicans and no Democrats in the general election for California Governor.

There's a very high risk of this happening. Indivisible, please be careful what advice you give about how to vote in primaries.

(BTW ranked-choice would solve this problem.)

@indivisibleteam

Correction: Primaries are for crushing the left's hopes and dreams.

General Elections are for supporting fascists, whether we like it or not.

Revolutions are for putting an end to capitalism and saving the human race.

#GeneralStrike

@indivisibleteam Unfortunately Dems are also pushing a ton of fascism these days.

@reflex @indivisibleteam Absolutely true. That's why they are doing everything they can through astroturf organizations such as Indivisible to make sure that popular rage is diverted into safe, docile Democratic support. Rather than the revolution that we must have if the human race is to survive.

Democrats are the smiley blue fascists. Republicans are the frowny red fascists. Both work for the same fascist oligarchs.

Both must be destroyed.

@indivisibleteam

Unless "beating the fucking fascists" entails destruction of the state, capitalism, hierarchy, and literal violence against fascists...all you're doing is perpetuating the very system which **enables fascism to occur**.
