inaimportant question about #eyeglasses , please boost! 
i received my new eyeglasses a few days ago, after going through my annual eye exam and getting a new prescription

I don't know about Texas, but in Hawaii we used to have boxes at public libraries for donating glasses. I haven't seen them for awhile, I think they disappeared during COVID.
Maybe check with local organizations and agencies that help people, they might know
Stuck HereThe Lions Club puts those boxes in at the libraries. The Walmart vision center will often have boxes to donate your eye glasses as well.

Broken Reality@3am is it ok to donate your eyeglasses? thought everyone’s eyesight prescription was different.
ive heard that some prescriptions match up (which makes sense, considering how many people exist in the world, im sure some match up) but mostly i just dont want a pair of perfectly good eyeglasses go to waste
David Brent 📚@3am Maybe check with your eye doctor? Mine has a donation box by the coat rack in their office. I can't recall which specific charity it goes to.
