Me. I'm a mad scientist.

(Paul Noth cartoons)

@petergleick Brilliant. I think we can also be mad for every “I told you so” that we’re holding back.

@petergleick you also introduced me to others through your writing.

Stay mad! 🙃

@petergleick tbf more angry than mad.
@petergleick become a mad scientist or be left behind
@petergleick I am a retired Chemist, of course I’m a mad scientist all chemists are med - we work with toxic and explosive chemicals for peanuts, we must be mad.
@aadeacon @petergleick my career as a chemist was cut short by a combination of dyspraxia and being excessively concerned with my continued existence 😀
@petergleick
Let's all give a hearty "Muwahaha!"
@petergleick
I'm so poor I can't even afford to pay attention.
@petergleick I am proud that my technicians, when I moved to France, called me (behind my back ) Professeur Fou. Now my hair & beard are almost white and a bit wild, I start to look the part as well.
(To explain, I did arrange for experiments on various tissues 'harvested' at local abattoirs).
@petergleick
A lot of those "mad scientists" in those science fiction stories are technically mad engineers. I'm not sure most pop/pulp science fiction writers understand the difference.
@petergleick I cannot unsee Half-Life scientists anymore. I've played too much Half-Life
@petergleick Thank you fir being a mad scientist.
@petergleick
No wonder he's mad: That's a LOT of buttons to have to deal with.
