In our weekly brainstorming session I threw out the idea of programming UltraMatter™ to eat spray paint. Or rather, have the nanocules rotate in place to convey the pigment below the surface. The team grabbed the idea and someone said, “if you code paint detection, why not just have our bus shelter product respond to tagging by extruding a pair of handcuffs around the criminal!”. A spike has been authorized for me to prototype this in the next sprint. Relax—I’m gonna have it extrude a set of lockpicks, too; I’m not a cop.
