@catsalad Such smoothly sloping beachfront vs. Chtulhu's presence there are in conflict. His hands seem to be touching a seafloor that is barely 6-10 feet (2-3 meters) deep, not much more than the height of the human. Cthultu's massive body would not fit in such shallow waters. Either he has no lower bodyparts below the hip, or the beach right there would need to have a huge drop and depression to accomodate his lower body (as if his hands where just on the border of a gigantic swimmingpool.) But such a drastic and large hole/drop seems inconsistent with such an almost horizontal coastine slope.

@raulinbonn @catsalad I had presumed that Cthulu was in the “edge of the swimming pool” position, and that the coastal cliffs above the beach were just shrouded in fog. A lot of beaches on the US west coast are a lot like that (sans Cthulu (most of tje time)).
