Avoiding your emotions is a great strategy for having a middle-age breakdown like no other.
Chances are still open that we’re all dead before I get to middle-age.
People say that every generation and as a result we have a whole-ass society who never made actual plans for themselves of their community, from the death-cult evangelicals who think World War 3 is a good thing because it means Jesus is going to take them away to play with their dead grandma and dead pets, to the tech-oligarchs and their fetid simp followers who think we’re going to have a “singularity” any year now and everyone is going to get whisked away to play with their virtual dead grandma and dead pets.
Let’s not forget the perpetually fucked who keep getting to major milestones in their life only to find the world has taken a big shit on their prospects, ie, the young uns now.
