Welcome to 2026, where readers of šŸ‘‰the New York PostšŸ‘ˆ get a better education on the science of airborne disease transmission than an MD who just graduated from medical school at the University of British Columbia. This is not hyperbole. People need to go to jail for this. #medsky #scisky #cdnpoli

How long diseases like measles...
Yes, I know. It seems impossible to imagine that medical training could be nearly a century out of date. The level of sheer incompetence it would take for a medical school to be that out of touch with reality, and be allowed to cover it up successfully, is almost inconceivable. It gets way worse:

Here's the 1934 paper in question. NB @[email protected] isn't special. Lots of other medical programs are run by MDs who are similarly ignorant behind closed doors. The SARS Commission highlighted how out of date they were two decades ago. But medicine is run by its dinosaurs.

Here's one example of the warnings provided by the SARS Commission. Unfortunately, this just triggered the gigantic, fragile egos of medicine's management class, who refused to admit they have anything to learn and focused on shutting science out. Source: wayback.archive-it.org/17275/202203...
The fundamental problem is that institutional medical leadership has become a dumping ground for those more interested in control than outcomes, who in turn "lead" the profession away from its strengths where reason and and patient interactions intersect, and into robotic obedience to authority.
