For the love of Christ controls us, since we have concluded this, that Christ died for all; therefore all have died. And he died for all so that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised (2 Corinthians 5:14-15).

In 2 Corinthians 5:1-16, #Paul described how and why he #lived for the #Crucified and #Risen Lord #Jesus.

Jesus died so all would die in Him to live in His ways. God displayed His love for us through Jesus' suffering and death, and so we should understand ourselves as held and constrained by the #love of Christ to live for Him.

We should know the fear of the Lord and should seek to please Him, aware of the imminent day of #judgment. 

We hope in the resurrection and its liberation from corruption, decay, sin, and death. 

Thus we do well to follow Jesus #faithfully and #persuade people to do likewise.
