Learning and re-learning all kinds of stuff in the new job lately, mostly related to Oracle, which is big here cuz momentum ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

New(ish): tablespaces, SDO geometry, Toad, DBeaver, all kinds of schemas and storage.

Re-learning: SDE system tables, intercepts, and permissions stuff.

Lots of spaghetti to untangle.

@mmdolbow As a hack developer, I love TOAD, but probably only use about 10% of it’s capabilities.

@JimKofron I'm not finding it all that intuitive at the outset. It's better than the Oracle SQL Developer, but that's not saying much. In contrast, I'm finding DBeaver to be pretty easy.

It's really too early to judge, though. At this point I'm just glad I have choices.
