Got back into the attic today. This photo feels like it actually encapsulates the scope of this place.

The foreground is one bag of insulation in place.

The image captures about *half* of the building's attic.

But I managed to cover one room with a little under 2 and a half bags (the red square in the second version of the image). So that's 2 of 12 rooms insulated!!

And that was the goal for this year, so I'm feeling pretty good about it!

@SocialGaff Hey, have some drive-by appreciation! I was discussing toxic masculinity (and positive masculinity) yesterday, and realized that often when you express masculine joy, I'm reminded of parts of my own largely-unexamined masculinity, and then I get to feel it, too.

Also, I suspect the clownhouse is already full of secrets, but if not you should finish off a chunk of that attic and turn it into a secret hangout spot...

The building has many little corners for hangouts, but I think that making some of the attic into a more useable space is on the *long* term project list :D
