I saw once this "demographic bell curve" of Russia from 2010s (before the war started), marked up "surplus male population". It appeared to be from somewhere like Wikipedia and/or a University, not some fash place and was simply making the bald statement that there were that many "surplus" young men in Russia, it simply doesn't make that a big dent in the population (or prevent it from still growing to some extent) if a lot of them are sacrificed in a war. Which is exactly what has happened just a few years later..
