An #introduction - I've been a #GreenParty member for some time, but when my landlord, #Eastend Homes, ruined the homes of my neighbours and me in an ill-conceived and dangerous regeneration programme, I became an active campaigner.
I've lived in Mile End since 2002 and have been active in my community. You may already know me as the beekeeper in Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park. Sadly, beekeeping is on hold due to my housing situation, but I look forward to restarting this.
I love the green and wild spaces in our neighbourhood. Mile End is one of the most densely populated wards in #TowerHamlets, and these spaces are, therefore, vital for our health and wellbeing. They need a lot of care and management, and I'm not afraid of getting stuck in.

As a campaigner, I've held the Mayor of London and the London Assembly to account for the treatment of my neighbours and me.

While asking the big questions, I'm also across the detail. I've written about the need for greater information access for tenants and residents: https://www.insidehousing.co.uk/home/tenants-and-residents-deserve-freedom-of-information-92204

I love my bike (yes, a #bikeTooter), and you can often see me cycling round the borough to get to work, get my shopping in, etc.
In my spare time, I’m working on getting my black belt in jujitsu. My club, Ishigaki Jujitsu, trains at the gym in Wood Wharf on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
