#ThePredatorClass

I can get behind that

@chartier The Epstein class. >:3
@chartier id have gone for Parasite Class.

@amyworrall I agree.

They would be proud to be called predators (“alpha males” etc.).

Parasites

@chartier they're absolutely predators! And they know it. 😡

@chartier Likewise we need to stop saying that oligarchs are "worth" billions of dollars.

They're barely worth their weight as *dog food*, which is what they need to be converted into. Right fucking NOW.

@chartier
We already have a term for centuries: bourgeoisie
@chartier the pedo weirdo gang, a class with no class.
@chartier nah, makes them sound like sci-fi battleships! we already have a bunch of words to call them - most of which are just 4-letters
@chartier They're more like parasites than predators.
@StarkRG @chartier There is something to that - we sometimes use "the top of the food chain" about management, but they are more leech-y.
@mjj @chartier It's not even a symbiotic relationship, the wealthy do not provide *anything* to society. That's not quite the same as management or leaders, some form of leadership is sometimes required, but not to the point that they're accruing wealth faster than the people doing the actual work. No good person becomes wealthy except by inheritance, and then they don't stay wealthy for long. Extreme wealth inequality is unsustainable, just like a parasite infestation.
@chartier Or the elite and ordinary are just creeps who have given power to the mob. Not even a class, but the gullible, their minions and the spawn of a sociopathic and psychopathic narcissists. They gaslight abstract classes to divide and control people. Concrete classes properly speaking are like a collection of interests; educators, healthcarers, engineers, ecologists, defenders, artists, .. , etc. #ConcreteClasses #AbstractClasses
@Dialectician @chartier Beyond the question of whether they are a class, it's a fact they don't have class. The neighbourhood preacher taking in homeless people on a cold night has more class than all of them combined. The person on disability benefits donating some spare change to a good cause has more class in their pinky finger. The rich don't grasp that bit of humanity.
@chartier
#ThePredatorClass is good and fits well but I prefer #TheParasiteClass
as it better describes their societal function.

@chartier I simply change it to elitists

#KISS

@chartier All language is metaphor, and the metaphors we choose shape how people think about problems and solutions. The importance of words and ideology https://hamishcampbell.com/the-importance-of-words-and-ideology/

@chartier I thought we settled on Epstein class?
@chartier Brad Delong calls them (historically):
An élite of thugs with spears assisted by tame accountants, propagandists, and bureaucrats running a force-and-fraud exploitation-extraction-and-domination grift régime

@chartier

Or #TheParasiteClass, because they are still part of human society, consuming it from within, and while some people admire predators, nobody likes parasites.

@bonaventuresoft

@chartier just call it the pedophile class let's call a duck a duck like damn
@chartier ‘arseholes’ also works…

@chartier I've been calling them Parasites or Parasite Class

Does exactly what is says on the tin¹

¹ UK-centric (I think) reference for those of a certain age

@chartier idiots with too much money is more realistic
Predator can be read as a compliment for masculine-induced stupidity
@Nawer_Rapter Realistic, but not catchy enough for a hashtag or t-shirt, lol

@chartier

Agreed!
They are predators and _abusers!_

They treat people with all the classic behaviors of abusers.

Restricting movement and person-to-person connections. Muddying information and education. Constant lying. Constant violations of boundaries and consent. Financial sabotage. Medical neglect.
Negging, threats, coercion, manipulation, intimidation. Belittling and dismissing.

Their actions as oppressors on the macro level, is as the actions of an individual abuser on a micro level.

@chartier nah it sounds too cool to edgelord manchildren

rich people infect things and destroy them with deranged thinking and hurtful, lopsided growths

pathogen people
@chartier it’s time to read the communist manifesto.
@Broomhilda @chartier oh no... we don't have to get rid of one devil only to invite another...

@chartier

My partner has long used the phrase ‘the carrion classes’…those whose living literally feeds from the blood, sweat and tears of others. They don’t make anything. They don’t do anything to help society. They just leech off of it in the most exploitative manner possible.
