Yet, in the end, a society that focuses on taking Care of one another serves LIFE....
While a society that focuses on blind Obedience, serves Nothingness.
So, I don't believe them when they accuse the Left of nihilism.
They ever show that the opposite is true.
We cannot let them create Death out of the world.
No Earth where a free-range livestock, a failed humanity, serve billionaires.
We must choose a Morality that honors Truth; that Frees & Enlivens.
That serves ALL, not just the few.

Empathy may be hard, sometimes.
Building relationships and collaborating is difficult, ESPECIALLY in a system like this, where so much is (artificially) unsure and precarious, and where bad actors are rife.
Being willing to fight hard, fight bloody -- yet to accept that the _endgame_ of that fight involves a world in which your enemy, and in which people you don't even like, MUST be cared for, and MUST recieve their basic necessities right alongside everyone else, is tough to swallow.

Other humans have discovered that Morality is about SOLIDARITY.
Creating community. Encouraging authenticity and diversity.
Being empathetic, and utilizing evidence-based practices and studies in order to improve life for everyone -- leaving no one behind, ideally; and especially being watchful to protect and uplift the vulnerable and the marginalized who may not have the same privileges and luck that most others do.

Humanity is having a kind of conversation.
An argument.
Some seem to think that true Morality is about Obedience. Conformity.
Bowing before tyrants; and fighting for the tyrant's dubious 'right' to run roughshod over everyone _else's_ rights, autonomy, ability to be authentic, and chances at self-development and happiness.
Trusting in a "strong man"(in theory), who CLAIMS to have a plan...a plan that often disappears the moment you try to EXAMINE said plan.

Remembering how it took forever to convince people that Project 2025 was going to be a problem, seeing it dismissed as a 'conspiracy' for months prior to the American election.
Watching the same thing happening with the aftermath of the American Coup, to wit: the oligarchs are DESPERATE to force their fascist henchmen on the rest of the world, and if your particular country accepts certain tech contracts, it won't matter how you vote anymore:

If you focus on mental issues, appearance, or whatever deprivation they struggle with, you not only paint every single person in that demographic with the same brush, but you provide an easily applied smokescreen for the abusers whose minds, lives, and mental structures are considered perfectly "respectable" and "normal".

There are people with npd, bpd, bipolar, or narcissistic behaviors, who have difficult lives, or whatever; who put in the work to be very careful to treat people well...or at LEAST to leave them alone and let them live.
Please, please, please. 🙏🏾 Please focus on the *behaviors* of these people. Not their aesthetic.

People need to recognize that you don't have to be physically unattractive, homeless, addicted, disabled, or have some kind of mental condition, in order to be abusive.
The problem of an abuser is that they are ABUSING SOMEONE.
There are plenty of people who are attractive, who abuse others.
There are plenty of people who "act normal", who abuse others.
There are plenty of people who are not narcissists, who abuse others.
