Suddenly I get all this official (!) government email branded with “Dr. Oz.” I suppose it's meant to remind me that we're now ruled by charlatans, quacks, and other criminals.
@gleick I found the same email in my inbox a few minutes ago. I thought, "...at least I'm not getting medicare.gov Dr. Phil emails about mental health." That'll be the next one.
@gleick it may also be a licensing scheme where he’s paid for the use of his name.
@gleick eat 6-7 servings a day of red meat, 1-2 of whole grains
@gleick
It's enough to make you seek reassurance ... by heading over to the CDC site where you can learn how we're winning the war on vaccines.

@gleick
The very first email I got from them, a few months back, I scoured the text til I found the tiny ‘unsubscribe’ link before hitting it. (Then I cussed a blue streak & ranted about hearing ANYTHING from this idiot for the next 30 minutes)

Since then, no more emails from him.

@gleick this feels like a prop from a 90s dystopian comedy about 2026
@gleick how incredibly depressing.
@gleick I blame Oprah for this one.
@gleick and he's pushing red meat

@gleick
@dianea

I got an email from medicare.gov with the subject line about healthy diet and deleted it knowing it was going to be more garbage advice. Keep in mind prior to these charlatans taking over, I rarely got any emails from medicare.gov.
