@geerlingguy Have you seen the proxy servers that let old PCs and Macs at least connect to the Internet in rudimentary ways?

I was doing pretty much exactly what you were a few days ago. Unfortunately, Apple seems to have taken down their Software Updates for Tiger and Leopard, so they need to be manually applied even if you have a proxy set up.

Still, it's important to check these old Macs to see if CityCopter One is Reporting Heavy Traffic.

@geerlingguy My Home Assistant NUC PC had 16 GB of RAM in it because that was what was in the PC before I decided to use it for Home Assistant. I recently raided it for the 2 8GB sticks and put in one 4GB stick because 6 months later, RAM prices are nuts and I acquired a laptop that needed the RAM. No way was I going to pay current market prices!

And for some reason, even basic HA setups will eat through 4GB of RAM in no time.
I like HA, but whoever is doing resource optimization over there, needs serious help.

Mine uses 4GB straight for like 10 sensors and a dashboard.

Do you use the full HAOS setup or docker/something else? I'm seriously concerned I'm doing something very wrong here.

Let me know when you get a mac pro 1,1. I still have ram for one and the equivalent dell workstation. Having it go to a good home would mean a lot.
