I really needed coffee this morning and it took from 6 am to 7:30 am to make it happen. You see, Mom is gone for the day, so comes back to see the whole kitchen and sink are filled up with stuff and she hadda clean it up to even be able to move around to make the badly-needed coffee.

Let me tell you, white knuckle driving for 2 1/2 hours at night on Arizona freeways is not fun. Incredible amounts of traffic both ways. Construction both ways here are there. Speed limits 75 to 55 back and forth. Translate to typical Arizona 90 to 70. Add in, I swear, the worst drivers in the US.

On the bright side I made it. And 74 does bring challenges to the whole intense driving here. I was nicely aware and competitive. And this morning I really “felt it”. Thanks again to @kimlockhartga and maybe @WrenArcher for helping me find my way to Kicking Horse Coffee #1 is Grizzly Claw (dark, smooth but not bitter) #2 is Smart Ass (medium that is closer to dark) and now #3 is Three Sister (true medium). Also note “tactical” black rubber band around small foreground bag. #Coffee #KickingHorse #GoodMorning #Today #Arizona

@cobalt123 @kimlockhartga @WrenArcher Love Kicking Horse coffee! Glad you finally got some.
@superflippy Forgot to add, the 3 shown here are my absolute faves. I am not going to recommend the Kicking Horse “Happy Camper” because I was not.
@cobalt123 I tried that one a couple months ago & I honestly can’t remember anything about it.

@cobalt123
Aaaagh!!! 🥰
You know what's funny about this is I found your post on my timeline before looking at my notifications. And because the post was collapsed, I didn't know I was tagged in it.

I saw the pic first and thought, "Hey, that's a pretty cool coffee setup. Wait a minute... Kicking Horse! I wonder if that post of me randomly showing my french press still has people using that coffee."

Question answered. ☺️
Good morning you two!

@kimlockhartga

@cobalt123 @WrenArcher Grizzly Claw is incredible! And I was incredulous at first. So happy to be proven wrong about dark roast coffees. They actually can be smooth.
