Coroner releases stats of northern Ontario deaths related to hypothermia, with Kenora district top of the list
The Ontario Coroner’s office said hypothermia was a factor in the deaths of 37 people in districts across northern Ontario between 2022 and 2024, with Kenora losing the highest proportion of people.
