@EllenInEdmonton @Giselle
We do indeed have a massive nation. I've driven across most of it (mid- and southern-latitudes a few times) and loved it very much.
One region that blows me away every time is #Kenora in NW #Ontario. For us westerners, this is #flyover country we never see when travelling by plane.
But the area is just like driving through #GroupOfSeven paintings, right alongside the #TransCanada highway! ❤️
I haven't had a chance to travel northish much: alas #Alberta's closure of most roadside campgrounds and the tendancy of even small town #motels and #hotels to be completely booked for #oilfield workers means it is a lot trickier without a self-contained option such as a van or motorhome.
I hope you get to do more northern trips soon!
And Giselle, is you ever have the chance to visit Canada, there is so much beauty in our landscapes and the wide skies if the prairies: I hope you have a chance to experience that, too. ❤️
