@weirdestate I recognize a number of those swords from my knife collecting days. A lot of them are from CAS Iberia, mass produced swords of extremely limited utility, the blades are mostly made of brittle stainless steel. Basically costume weaponry. Somebody spent a lot of money on sharp edged décor

@continuity0 @weirdestate Plus there’s nothing more dull than a room full of cheap faux-katana knockoffs. It’s like an entire wardrobe full of chinos and white t-shirts.

No schiavona, no rapiers, no scimitars and almost nothing with an Oakeshott classification.

It screams ‘I Have Studied The Blade!’ without acknowledging that they didn’t actually learn anything.
