Jan EkholmI assume this means that our NextCloud instance could be offline for about a week. That's some serious weak ass system admin skills. It should take a few minutes at most to update.

@wasink That's not what the emails said though. I never go and check some random status pages unless things are broken, especially when there are multiple mails sent about the maintenance breaks.
@wasink With some luck all future vague maintenance announcements can be safely ignored and one can but hope the downtime is short.
I would like to move my stuff away from US service providers and Hetzner seems to have everything one could need and good prices too.
Markus 👨💻@chakie I think that's a misunderstanding/miscommunication. They'll do the update *sometime* within the specified time frame (staged rollout). The downtime will be 5-10 minutes according to the status page.

@markusr That's not what the emails said. I hoped that it was a matter of bad communication as one week is enough to write it all from scratch, but one never knows. I haven't used Hetzner for more than a few months so have no idea how they work. My other VPS:es are at Digital Ocean and they always have clear and precise information.
