Brad Karp Resigns as Paul Weiss Chairman Amid Epstein Fallout

The decision followed the release of a series of embarrassing emails between Mr. Karp and Jeffrey Epstein.

The New York Times

@heidilifeldman

That explains their immediate capitulation.

They're on Team Pedo.

@heidilifeldman @troy_frizzell
Trump has kompromat on all those fuckers so long as he remains the president. It would explain a lot.
@heidilifeldman
This is why they used to say character matters, before Clarence Thomas was waived into position.
@heidilifeldman welp. now we know why he had the firm capitulate.
@blogdiva @heidilifeldman
You'd think the rest of the firm might be even more pissed off about that, now that they know it was part of either a shakedown or a sweetheart deal between members of the Epstein Island Club 🤔

@heidilifeldman jfc. Internal self-combustion would be a good start.

@heidilifeldman still with the firm, but golly feels bad about it & will continue feeling bad with probly an 8 figure annual pay package before bonus.
Not even an apology in there or golly I sure misjudged that guy's character, I've got some reflecting to do. Just "this is a distraction, so i'll be on the 34th floor instead of 35th from here on."

Ro Khanna is right, put these creeps under oath, get some actual accountability.

@heidilifeldman

what a damn tragedy for him, may he rot if he was one of the pedos.

@heidilifeldman

More to follow I hope…

@heidilifeldman "Mr. Karp asked Mr. Epstein for help landing his son a job on a #WoodyAllen movie" 😬
@heidilifeldman But not for the capitulation, which tells you all you need to know about Paul Weiss. And he's not leaving the firm because of his relationship with Epstein.
@IzzyChambers I am re-evaluating the capitulation episode now.
@Virginicus Lots of other firms capitulated and are now collaborating with Trump. Skadden, Willkie, Kirkland, Latham, AO Shearman, Milbank.
@IzzyChambers Maybe we should be looking for their officers in the #EpsteinFiles , too.
@Virginicus Not a bad idea. Although I think that most big law firms are so concerned about their profits per partner that any risk to that must be addressed. Hence the deals with Trump.
@heidilifeldman it's always the people you most expect, who it also was last time, and who it will will be next time too.
