"Luke, I am your *second* father"
"Luke, I am your *second* father"
“Leia… there’s something I have to tell you. We have two dads.”
“I knew. I don’t know how, but I always knew.”
And they looked remarkably similar! Must’ve been twins like us! Looks like “loving” twins runs through our family.

No no, your mother died of sadness.
BECAUSE YOU CHEATED ON HER WITH ANAKIN?!
Damnit, son. I need you to back off the hatred for a minute and think about this logically.
TELL THAT TO THE CLONES YOU ALSO ABANDONED!!!
*Deep kshhh pshhhhh* Alright… That’s it… I’m cutting off your hand.
I am confused how this all makes sense. Biologically, which does not matter as much as who actually raises you: Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader is Luke’s father, The father who actually raises Luke was his uncle Owen.
So in that sense Luke does in fact have: A biological & BAD father- Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader & A real father who raised Luke in Uncle Owen.
Okay, I got the post that started thread point- >
Since before Darth Vader told Luke he was his father, Luke knew Anakin Skywalker was his father, but there 2-huge problems with that thinking 1st. & obvious, They are both males, how would produce Luke & 2nd. uncle Owen was the father that raised Luke, why does he know about Anakin Skywalker? Remember they were keeping Luke from discovering his biological father was Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader.
Plus, the second part of the PIC, in the post that starts the thread, makes no sense to the first part, referencing my above point that first part makes no sense.
He knew his father was Anakin Skywalker. He didn’t know that Anakin was a Jedi until Obi Wan told him in A New Hope (his uncle lied and said he was a freighter pilot or something), and didn’t know Anakin and Darth Vader were the same person until the end of The Empire Strikes Back (because they weren’t the same person until the writers decided on that twist while making that movie).
Leia being his sister was a similar twist pulled out of their asses while writing the third movie, in the hopes of recreating the “I am your father” hype.
If nobody else, Obi-Wan. Although the exchange at the Lars household over dinner suggests that Owen and Beru didn’t exactly hide his father’s name from him. Since “Anakin” doesn’t appear at all in the script until after the twist, it’s likely that there wasn’t a firm name for him until ROTJ.

Luke definitely knew he had a father, though. And had an idea of who he was from the aunt and uncle who raised him, Obi-Wan, and even the rebel pilots.
