After my wonderful travelling experiences last night (see previous long-winded thread) I am more than prepared for the heart and soul wrenching attempt to get home tonight and have a warm dinner.
And if I repeat this often enough, I might even come to believe it.
But it's still 40 minutes until I can clock out, and 30 until the train I want to catch - punctually for a change - leaves Hannover.
Hopefully there will be no one on the tracks tonight; the train will be handed over on time; the doors won't fail; another train won't have to overtake it .. anything I've missed out from the "sorry but" catalogue?
Still wishful thinking. Still, if I expect the worst, based on experience, at least I won't be disappointed.
