Morning Mastodonians!
It actually got above freezing yesterday for the first time in a couple of weeks. Unfortunately, I was in the office, so I didn’t have time to take the dogs for a walk. It should be almost as warm #Today, so I am looking forward to #walkies. Even my phone was complaining that I hadn’t been getting my steps in. If I were really dedicated, I would fire up the under-desk treadmill. I should do a bit more shoveling outside to give the dogs a path for wandering.
It was a spirited hockey game yesterday morning, though we lost 3-2. The bad guys were able to put home a couple of tough rebounds and a good shot from the face-off dot that beat me far side. It was frustrating that I couldn’t pull out a win for my team. But it was a good skate, and everybody worked up a sweat. I showered and went into the office, where we had a gaming lunch. Unfortunately, I was too busy to join. I did bring a Mystery Rummy game and Take Six.

We had a good session of Baldur’s Gate last night. I think we finally got past my saved game snafu and are again exploring more new areas on the Sword Coast. We haven’t quite made it to the main city yet, though. Tonight, 4 Guys Co-op will continue playing Tiny Tina‘s Wonderland, a Borderlands game. I get bored playing them, but the other guys like it well enough, so we’ll carry on.
I’m busier than a cross-eyed rooster on an ant hill in the #SaltMine. I had a big demo on Monday afternoon, although I wasn’t able to get it completely in shape by then. But when the project lead asked me yesterday morning how soon I would be able to finish it, I was pleased to tell him it was already done. That’s how close I was. Still looking for a better test case, but at least the technology mix is proving to work.
