John Quiggin doesn’t think #OneNation will ever get to govern, no matter the increasing votes it is currently harvesting according to recent polls, because:

“Hanson’s permanent support base (embittered middle-aged and older low-education regional voters) is not only small, but so different from the actual majority of Australians to whom they refer as “inner-city elites”.

There’s also Hanson’s crazy policies, but since when have policies stopped an ON #RWNJ from running against them?

Scary is the right word alright Heather. The current climate is responsible for the anxiety epidemic we are experiencing and this makes peeps angry, angry in their perceived helplessness. If only clear thinking would prevail. That would get us out of this mess quick smart.
