@RayKuntz i have never seen this - is it a - salsa on pictures of yours. Nice one. I would try front loading (low rider) those Ortlieb‘s ones. I tried because I was curious about all that Randonneur-nich-talk of Jan Heine. And I even loved it on my MTB. But this bike looks nice with its color theme.
@Jay23Jay I really like the Ortlieb panniers - I can swap them with the fatbike so easily. I have not tried them on the front but that looks really interesting.
@RayKuntz i have the same and the small ones, too. Like the small ones very much the last years. Front load is very handy. You only need to take car on the wheight balance roughly and you do not want to use only one side 😋.
But I really want to try an allygn rack with a gramm back. I saw the small diamond in action an this really changes the way I thought about a daypack on bike. The large one would even fit my laptop. But the price is crazy. So I stay with Ortlieb Rollers.
@Jay23Jay I am able to fit a backpack with a small laptop in one of the Ortleibs as long as I don’t overfill the backpack.
@RayKuntz I used to do this as well. That‘s where I started. But atm I like the very lean setup with two frontrollers, one withe the laptop in a pouch and one with clothes for changing and the lunchbox.
@Jay23Jay I looked at the Allygn and that setup looks very nice!
