Anyhow, #yegbike wise it's not bad as the snow is fluffy and you cut right through. Presumably it won't be cold and snowing long enough to build the sort of rutted ice cake that can make winter biking difficult.

We had an exhilarating cold 45 minute bike ride this evening as a few snowflakes fell. I froze my feet (should have worn warmer shoes), face and backside. No big deal.
It just felt so good to get out and pedal at a time when there's not many cars on the road. It really clears your head.
And there's that great tingly feeling when you get into the warmth afterwards.
5th ride of 2026.
