@joycebell This is really not great, it's like the plagues have been unleashed upon this country, and no competent people in charge anymore.(they probably are happy to see these spreading, they think they are immune from consequences)
@ai6yr Check out all the places this UW-Madison student went including riding the bus! https://www.dhs.wisconsin.gov/outbreaks/index.htm

@ai6yr @joycebell sheesh. I wonder when mumps and rubella are going to start reappearing, since they are part of the basic vaccine everyone is skipping. I don’t think they are as contagious as measles, but I won’t be surprised when we start hearing about cases.
@firefly @joycebell I'm so happy I just went and got an MMR shot last year, lol. No questions asked, no titers, just walked up and got it.
@ai6yr @firefly Good call! I had measles as a kid along with mumps, chickenpox, and I think, rubella, (not at the same time πŸ˜„).
@ai6yr @firefly Also, our county had these mass vaccination events where they’d bus all the area school kids to the courthouse for polio, small pox, and tetanus shots, which was a good public health thing but a bit harrowing at the time.
@joycebell @ai6yr @firefly Same - along with all my siblings. Our mother had a lot of nursing care to keep up with.

@firefly @ai6yr @joycebell Mumps has already started reappearing. Most people probably don't realize that mumps can cause fertility issues.
