Microsoft provided the FBI with the recovery keys to unlock encrypted data on the hard drives of three laptops as part of a federal investigation.

BitLocker recovery keys are uploaded to Microsoft’s cloud, allowing the tech giant — and by extension law enforcement — to access them.

The current FBI appears to be more akin to KGB or the East German STASI than it does a crime investigation organisation for any modern civilised democratic society.

It is quite worrying that conspiracy fictional movies appear to be less fictional than they appeared.

It would seem a good idea to ditch the cloud, and anything else run by Microslop, now. That would probably include any password managers.
