Federal judge has ordered the release of Liam Ramos (the bunny hat boy) and his father from U.S. immigration detention. A brief and rather remarkable order. Clearly written to be shared widely, so please do. https://storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.uscourts.txwd.1172886492/gov.uscourts.txwd.1172886492.9.0.pdf

Some notes:

Yes, that’s a typo on the month. Date is correct on page 1 and other docs.

Also, the scripture:

Matthew 19:14 ~ Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”

John 11:35 ~ Jesus wept.

@tiffanycli

I noticed that this may not be the real deal as there are no more than 28 (or 29) days in February...

@tiffanycli “That is called the fox guarding the henhouse” 🦊
@tiffanycli I particularly appreciate citation 1 on page 1. Even sovcit clowns will understand that one.

@tiffanycli

@tiffanycli Wow. That is indeed a remarkable order.
@tiffanycli that judge sounds furious.
@benjamineskola as he should be!
@tiffanycli well, yeah! Still surprising to see it come across in the writing though. (Reassuring, though.)
@tiffanycli 31st day of February?? Hope that doesn't affect the document's legal force.
@tiffanycli @DMakarios scrivener's error, which effectively means the error is ignored and it would be interpreted as intended to be written
@tiffanycli
> Apparent also is the government's ignorance of an American historical document called the Declaration of Independence. Thirty-three-year-old Thomas Jefferson enumerated grievances against a would-be authoritarian king over our nascent nation. Among others were:
> 1. "He has sent hither Swarms of Officers to harass our People."
> 2. "He has excited domestic Insurrection among us.”
> 3. "For quartering large Bodies of Armed Troops among us."

> 4. "He has kept among us, in Times of Peace, Standing Armies without the consent of our Legislatures."
> "We the people" are hearing echos of that history.
> And then there is that pesky inconvenience called the Fourth Amendment...

Daaaaamnn, Your Honor!!

@tiffanycli Remarkable ruling. Judges value a certain decorum, and most rulings, well, they run the gamut from cool to lukewarm.

Fred Biery goes white-hot in this decision.

Very rare to see such open disgust in a ruling.

@tiffanycli I haven’t seen anyone yet pointing out that “Conejo,” the bunny-hat kid’s matronymic, literally means “rabbit.”
@tiffanycli That’s signed with an incorrect date are we sure it’s real?

@MissConstrue @tiffanycli

You ever been so mad you made a mistake?

This is a typographical error that will be corrected.

The Final Judgment from Judge Fred Biery dated 1/31/2026 detailing the particulars of the release from detention.

@synduckate @tiffanycli

Heh, yeah I have. In official documents too. Not court, nobody would give me a gavel, I’d be mad with power, mad I tell you.

If I’d thought long enough ida realized the source link was reliable, and would have attributed typo. In my defense, it is so hard and so important to weed out disinformation and false info before the regime uses it to prove we’re “hysterical”. And the firehose of kakistocracy is strong with this regime. No offense was intended, and hope none taken. 🥰

@MissConstrue @tiffanycli

An amended order and opinion (correct date) has been filed in the system as well.

@tiffanycli @blogdiva Interesting that the date on the bottom of that court order is wrong: Feb 31.

I've heard of banks doing financial transactions on the 30th of February.

But apparantly, in US the judiciary has a different calendar that has 31st of February. Never seen before.

@tiffanycli

@tiffanycli

"31st day of February 2026"

This does not look real.

@tiffanycli a judicial master class...
