They just heavily gassed. Went thru my full face again. the medics were saying it was going through their masks too. There were very young children present. This is the road nearby ten minutes after the gassing started. The gas is still visible as I type this. Crowd regroup and energy is high. “Killing in the name of” now playing on loud speaker. More later nothing will upload not even pics

@alissaazar that's a gas canister gun. It won't kill you, but the irritant is capsaicin based. I grow extreme chilly peppers. And we're talking reapers. The secret is to drink milk, and keep a carton handy to wash out the eyes. Lactose breaks down capsaicin from pepper spray and gas canisters. You can't wear face coverings at protests UNLESS it for medical reasons, and an N95 mask minimizes capsaicin inhalation. Also don't touch your genitals. It hurts like a motherfucker. Ask me how I know.

Since the air in a few US cities is getting spicy again, it's probably worth linking these... https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4429528 I'm not affiliated with the designer but I work in dusty environments. The designer came up with these during the George Floyd protests and I haven't found anything better. It's designed to go on top of a water bottle that you then squeeze and it fires jets of water from the outside edges and then diverts the water away. The idea is that it flushes the irritants AWAY from your tear ducts and out. It's worth trying out BEFORE you need it to understand how it works, but once you've done it, I can tell you from experience that you can use it without help without being able to see.

@TheGreatLlama @alissaazar If I accidentally get it in my eyes, I don't milk. I lay down in the bath tub, with my face under the facet, up close to it and flush it. I do use milk for the more...tender places, because it neutralizes it really quickly. But, on a protest field do you have a bath tub? Can you carry a sink with you? No. So this is a better option, but if you don't have this, then milk is your second best option. $2, can carry it in your bag. There ya go.
