But hey, the USA spend even more than that on locking away the LARGEST prison population on earth, actually 25% of all the world. Kind of logical you need to fund the stormtroopers to fill these prisons with the same kind of money...

George, ICE isn't Gestapo - it's something in between SS and SA. I.e. much worse than Gestapo.
Gestapo was the *secret* police.
SS and SA were the *openly acting* Nazi thugs, performing the terror and atrocities the world is speaking about.
Cutting the increase? Why are Democrats voting for any ice funding at all? Why are they approving any budget at all? They are naive if they think there will be more fair elections. This is their last chance to save democracy. All federal funding is a weapon for Trump to use.
