image retention on my thinkpad has gotten so bad

i genuinely don't know if i should invest in a screen replacement or just outright buy a new laptop, since my T470s is kinda old

i've had a couple of battery replacements, and i'm sorta tired of changing parts

not saying replacing parts is bad, that's one criterion i take into account when i plan to buy a new laptop

it's just that i replaced both of my batteries 3 times in a row because they got swollen

and my keyboard because the right arrow key button fell off 🥲

Ah yea crap, if it wasn't for this, I would just say its completely fine to get a new one.

Replacing parts over and over too much can get tiring indeed.

@cadenwolfgang and it's frustrating because my thinkpad is pretty much usable, but the screen situation makes me not use it without a second display
