The apps I need are available (2FA, pw manager, messenger, VPN etc.) and working as expected.
Pictures from the Cameras are good, but I'm not a camera expert to give a profound feedback on that.
I appreciate the privacy approach from e/OS. Happy to get rid of Meta, Google and MS.
The only point I discovered is that the FP doesn't work with every USB-C charging device (e. g. original Samsung)

Johan K Sch@meraord @mesiverse2000 I use FP 5 since last Autumn. Still on Android, but I have successively degoogled it.
A key reason for buying FP was repairability/inheritability (rather than buying refurbed phones/more expensive screen repair for the kids).
It's bigger and heavier than my previous Samsung Galaxy S10.
I can't complain about the camera, but the degoogled alternatives to Google's photo editing app just aren't as good.
All things considered, I'm happy with my choice.

Hi all, I’m specifically wondering if FP6 with Murena /e/OS is working for the following apps, and what people’s experiences have been using them. But regarding upgrade, there's one point I'd make: downloading an upgrade takes very very long and it stops multiple time in between. It's not about the network connection, but I think it's on the server side. It was already mentioned by another user here on Mastodon. Luckily, upgrading #murena e/OS happens not very often, but I hope this will be fixed.

The updates download problems seem to happen when a lot of people are downloading at the same time. You can probably avoid them by downloading at night or waiting a week or two. Not a big problem in any case.
