@NanoRaptor I've got an old Compaq 286 luggable that I need to try to rescue, starting with the floppy drive, but in all my many boxes of ancient computer pieces I couldn't find a floppy-cleaner disk.
I found my floppy-cleaner-disk yesterday. (I just haven't had time to sit down and muck with it yet what with ice-storms and ADHD and life and stuff.)
...appropros of nothing in particular (autistic parallel-talk, maybe?)
I had one! Well our lab did was playing with it for instrument control. Darn fuzzy little CRT.
Miss the Lisa we had more.
I vaguely remember a story about how the instrutions in a user manual for a piece of office software had to be changed from "To do X, insert disk 2 in the floppy drive and press F8" to "To do X, remove disk 1 from the floppy drive and insert disk 2 and then press F8."
Aww!
My only real memory of the SX-64 was a friend once bringing one down to their parents' beach house for a long weekend and us all playing Ghostbusters and California Games on that tiny screen.
The next time we just took my beige breadbin and plugged that into the telly instead. 😉
Beautiful!!!
I grew up playing games on one of these! Seeing this took me back.

Wait, are you doing Wikipedia pages for your creations now?
Wow, I've never even heard of that one.
