I hate “Smooth Scrolling” and wonder if this is because of my setup (Linux, Firefox, desktop keyboard, mouse/trackball - since forever) and it just works better on other systems (Win/Mac/Laptops)?

Do people generally like it? Why is it on by default (in various tools)?

Ok, so it does seem to be a me-thing. 20% against, majority liking it (the don’t-knows are probably likes, because you’d change the default if it would bother you).
