"They are chaotic scenes, which has led a lot of people to raise the alarm that ICE Watch could spark more retaliatory violence from agents.
As a sociologist who studies violence, I know these concerns are misguided. They betray a fundamental misunderstanding of what ICE Watch is and why it’s an effective tool to protect a community whose rights are being flagrantly violated by the very people who swore an oath to uphold them."

If you are asking for violence in response to violence, I would suggest you read or listen to any number of interviews of, conversations with Erica Chenoweth during which she clearly states that violent opposition to authoritarian regimes is much less successful than nonviolent opposition.
Nonviolent opposition against this authoritarian regime is well underway and growing by the day.
