This will happen with or without me, and I found it important to have an alternative that is not owned by OpenAI or Anthropic. Something where your data can stay on your machine, because it works with local models as well.

@steipete @not3ottersinacoat if these billionaire psychos whose efforts you are legitimising get their way and successfully automate away the need for most jobs, the economy will collapse and countless people will die. If it doesn’t work, the economy will collapse anyway when all the AI investments are revealed to not be worth it, and many people will still die. But you’re having fun so it’s ok.
