I know folks are feeling economically stressed and that there are all sorts of ways we, in the U.S. especially, must be fighting to get Trump out of the White House and to subdue Republican Fascism. Along the way, anything we can do to ameliorate the consequences for the vulnerable and affected is one way of making it clear that Trump and his Republican Fascist supporters and enablers will not prevail overall. 5/
Believe me, I am horrified and embarrassed and angry about Trump’s threats toward and treatment of our European allies and his acts of force against Venezuela. I am appalled by the complete lack of effort by the Republicans in Congress to have him comply with a law Congress passed requiring the release of the Epstein files. Not ignoring any of that nor any of the rest of what a friend describes as “the maelstrom of utter crap.” 6/
Americans must act on the fact that the U.S. has entered the Second American Civil War. Those of us on the side of American Democracy need to support and bolster each other across state lines.
