Many of us here do not support threats or hostility toward other countries, and we are deeply scared (but not subdued) by the direction our country is heading. Our government does not speak for all of us,

#trump is only feeding the #tecbros and grabbing as much as he can for himself. To leave the country ruined doesn't matter for him. His only interest is to take the money and settle somewhere else. @Krosen_nw @gkat You would not use this in a book of fiction as it would be deemed implausible. At root also is how the human brain is pathologically obsessed with 'more' - not just Trump but all of us. It is just that Trump operates at a vastly larger scale.

Thanks, at least here in Germany we have not forgotten that there are not just Ghouls and senile madmen as well as mad botox inflated effigys of females in usa.

The times are not easy for both sides.

For me anyone proudly showing stars and stripes, driving tesla and filling a shopping cart with usa junk food or Jim Beam is definitely on the avoid list :-)

@Krosen_nw I am from Germany. One of my grandfathers was Nazi and fought for Hitler. Many people who read history know, what people in the US are living through right now. We have to support each other and rebuild what is broken. Remember: fascists only seem to be strong. As soon as people unite, this strength is broken.

I have a bad message for you though. In the end it is all the american people, who are responsible for their government. I am saying this knowing that I myself have such a responsibility and it's called Friedrich Merz. Nothing to be proud of either.

I hope very much that you guys step up and turn the page. Until then I apologize for wishing for inflation for you. Seems that nothing else will be able to do the trick. If anything promising comes up, I will immediately switch to rooting for that instead. Another reason for you guys to come up with something. We are counting on you guys.
