Join Episcopalians and faith partners in prayerful solidarity for an online vigil organized by the church’s public policy, partnership, and witness division in partnership with the Episcopal Church in Minnesota. We will mourn, lament, and remember those who have died due to immigration enforcement or while in detention, and seek to root ourselves in Jesus as we continue to witness to and work toward God’s love and justice for the world. Spanish interpretation will be available. Únase a la vigilia de oración en colaboración con la Iglesia Episcopal de Minnesota 13 de enero a las 8 p. m. hora del este Únase a los episcopales y a otros grupos de fe para hacer una vigilia en línea organizada por la división de políticas públicas, asociaciones y testimonio, en colaboración con la Iglesia Episcopal de Minnesota. Lamentaremos y recordaremos a las personas que han fallecido debido a la aplicación de las leyes de inmigración o mientras se encontraban detenidos y buscaremos arraigarnos en Jesús, mientras continuamos dando testimonio y trabajando por el amor y la justicia de Dios para el mundo. @steggy there is a weekly networking call to keep folks up to date about what the OGR is doing. If he hasn’t signed up for those, he might want to consider it, if for no other reason than to learn who the current staff are.
@Jay I will tell him. He is doing the Episcopal Service Corps this year. :)
@steggy excellent choice! He’ll have a wonderful experience! What diocese are you in? I’ve connected with folks from all over through the networking calls, perhaps I’ve heard of some happenings in your area that would interest him.
@Jay he’s in Indiana until May, then he will be back in Virginia (DC suburbs)
@steggy I have a friend who used to be in the Diocese around DC (she got called to New Hampshire or Vermont, I forget which) I’ll check in with her and see if she has any useful ideas for him.
