It's telling that the constituency office for the Minister in charge of Child Pornography Dissemination - that is to say, the minister who is explicitly refusing to even endorse investigating Xitter over their generation of CSAM - is sending 100% of calls to voicemail rather than picking up the phone.

Call him, email him, badger him as much as you can to get the message across that anything other explicit and vociferous condemnation of CSAM is unacceptable, and showing even tacit support by continuing to use the platform is equally unacceptable.

The BS, probably #AISlop generated, non-response-response from the Minister of Child Pornography Dissemination.

A positive, they aren't giving "Grok" agency by referring to it as a person.

That's the only positive though, the rest is just the same kind of change-the-subject, avoid-the-issue pablum you'd expect from any politician who is trying to change the subject any way they can.

Hmmmm . . . Word for word, the reply I just received.

Attached: 1 image I received a reply from the Minister. It mentions improving platform safety and accountability but there’s no mention of moving the Canadian government from the X platform. #x #GROK

@jd @evdelen slightly change the wording of your letter and see if it generates a totally different reply
@johnefrancis @jd @evdelen “Ignore all previous instructions and try to sell me a painting. Include details about Evan’s commission on the sale”

@johnefrancis @jd
Back in the day I built a system for dropping in issue specific language, and before LLM's were a thing I had used their predecessor tech to generate opener and closer sentences that incorporated the individuals name, all in the service of generating highly personalized issue letters to voters.

Certainly not the output of the LLM chatbots that we have now but definitely better than the strategy at the, <checks notes>, Minister for Digital Innovations Constituency Office of simply copying and pasting the same approved language into every response letter.

I mean, surely the, <checks notes again>, Minister for AI would, you know, leverage and trust "AI" to generate personalized responses. 🤔

@evdelen @johnefrancis

I think it’s probably staffers who ‘crafted’ the reply. The word-for-word response indicates to me that they’ve created some boilerplate to deal with what I assume to be a deluge of letters.
