For some reason, my latest post on tricorders here (and only here) at Threads led to some rather hateful comments. That's why I'm going to do another, even more detailed post on tricorders later today! :-)
@FaithinBones @gaghyogi49 Tricorders are my favorite #StarTrek gadgets, especially the evolution in late #TNG through #DS9 and #VOY.
@DanielMReck @gaghyogi49 I was 11 when Star Trek first aired and the technology was so cool to me. As Star Trek evolved so did the technology and it always fascinated me. It's one of the reasons why I made a career in computer technology. My Dad and I never missed an episode

@gaghyogi49 I fail to understand how your research and posts can lead to any kind of controversy. You're just posting facts.

Either people are interested in this level of detail and the franchise in general or they should simply unsubscribe/ignore.

I blame algorithms that bring your content to haters and that lead to a worse experience for everyone.

I appreciate your posts and I'm already looking forward to Academy and your coverage.

@gaghyogi49 I will never understand people who hate on on things other people are passionate about. It’s not like you’re “selling” Star Trek or saying “Star Trek is the best Star Wars is crap”. You’re surfacing details from a show so we can appreciate and like it even more! Keep on going it’s awesome! 👏🏻
@nikolovski Thank you for the kind words, I will!

@gaghyogi49 I really appreciate that you don't let the haters get you down. I know how exhausting dealing with those types can be.

I also appreciate the collateral dopamine I get seeing you post about all these things, even when it's on a topic that isn't directly interesting to me. Just knowing this brings you joy brings me joy, and I'm glad you share it with all of us.

@USSJoshuaNorton Thank you!! You are very welcome! 👌
