I like Monero (XMR) the private cryptocurrency, as leftists we use currency and its pointless to be purist about that.

Monero is a private and open source cryptocurrency, usually cryptocurrency has a public ledger where every transaction (amount & sending/receiving address) is publicly viewable Monero is different it obscures the amount sent and sending and receiving addresses

As an anarchist I can think of many ways this can be incredibly useful toward the aim of dismantling the state you will have to use your imagination

As long as we live in a society with currency individuals should have a right to privacy. No one gets involved when you make everyday cash transactions, I just believe this should extend to digital transactions too.

Some states are already heavily restricting cryptocurrencies like monero while viewing privacy nightmares like bitcoin more favorably

I should say one thing about the environmental aspect, monero uses an algorithm that is not easily parallelized which means theres no such thing as a monero GPU farm
