If I add the triangles two and two into parallelograms I have now knitted 1000 parallelograms.
.
This project feels kind of endless, but now there are only 65 more parallelograms and an edge left before all of the weaving in of ends...
Almost done.

@EmyJohanna

That is amazing. Weirdly, I'd never sit on it, convinced it would be bumpy.
Can't wait to see it finished!

@EmyJohanna this looks so awesome. 🚀

@EmyJohanna @gnomon

That's beautiful! (and kinda trippy) Lovely work!

@EmyJohanna nice. looking forward to its completion :)
@EmyJohanna I love this so much
@EmyJohanna @WizardOfDocs woah! Incredible work 😍
@EmyJohanna It is totally amazing, thanks for sharing!
@EmyJohanna very cool effect with the colours 😍
@EmyJohanna a-maze-in! When did you start, and how many hours do you guess it took? wow...
I started almost a year ago, on January 16 2025. Each parallellogram takes approximately 10-15 mins. I don't want to do the math on the total.
@EmyJohanna It is beautiful ... and it almost looks like it's 3D.
@EmyJohanna Blimey, truly mega!! That would make me cross-eyed knitting that, hope you haven't dropped any stitches!
I've dropped stitches, but there are never more than 20 live stitches, so dropping one just means frogging 40-60 stitches or so to get it fixed.
@EmyJohanna Wow, RESPECT! How many hours (/days/weeks/months) did you knit?!
I have been working on it since last January, but haven't kept track of how many hours it has taken.
@EmyJohanna Congrats for your staying and finish!!
@EmyJohanna Wow, that's stunning. Great work!
@EmyJohanna, … now imagine playing Q*Bert on that.
@EmyJohanna absolutely stunning. Thanks for sharing!
@EmyJohanna this is so so impressive!! (i bet weaving the ends will take as much time as knitting 1065 parallelograms 😅)
