@saraislet I think a big step in avoiding crises is to isolate if possible, and if it is not, patch first and deal with the fallout later.

Dealing with a broken system is much less effort than dealing with a compromised one.

@alwayscurious strongly agree, but manufactured "crises" in which workplaces demand employees work weekends for everyday feature investments are an entirely different problem that should not ever exist

I've heard of *multiple* circumstances like this across the tech industry while interviewing candidates in the last few months

@saraislet If Unicode won’t assign a code point (and, let’s face it, they won’t), maybe we can hack it into OSes as a combining character. Much in the way that 🏳️+🌈=🏳️‍🌈, we can have, say, ✂️ and 🇫🇷 form a guillotine emoji when placed together.
