Axiom to the Max(iom)

I made my first quilt blocks!

Thanks to the #QuiltersOfMastodon for giving me the confidence and advice I needed to get started with #quilting

I ordered some supplies online, but I was so excited to get started that I went ahead and made a few 4 Patch blocks with some fabrics I had on hand. I think I might use the rest of these prints to make either a bench cushion for my sewing table or a new blanket for my dog.

I can see now how getting the seams to line up is going to be a pain ...

@Axiom I like to say "1/8 inch & be there" (akin to the photography saying of "F8 & be there", meaning it's better to get the shot than miss it because of fiddling with the camera).

I'll spend far too long getting a point to match up even though I know that after it's washed, it won't draw attention to itself. Finished is better than perfect!
