You can now instantly access #Obsidian from your lock screen, home screen, control center, Shortcuts, and Siri.

The new design gives more space to your notes, and helps you quickly navigate your vault.

@moumn @kepano @obsidian What device to you use? And how many plugins? Here Obsidian is responsive in less then two seconds after I tap on the icon when I haven’t open it for several hours.

@Kernic @moumn @obsidian iPhone 17 Pro but I also use a Google Pixel 9 with same vault. Around 17k files and maybe 6 plugins.

I don't use any plugins that run their own index (e.g. Dataview, Omnisearch, etc their indexing kills startup time).

But even if you use one of those plugins, Obsidian 1.10 added a feature that defers plugin loading so you can start writing immediately.
