@obsidian Ooo the widgets are nice!

I would like the option for my daily note to open in reading mode instead of editing mode. (It has some useful embedding magic in the template that doesn’t render in editing mode.)

Edit: I have the catalyst license, discord badge etc and TestFlight is still only showing version 1.10.6 for iOS.

@moumn @kepano @obsidian What device to you use? And how many plugins? Here Obsidian is responsive in less then two seconds after I tap on the icon when I haven’t open it for several hours.

@Kernic @moumn @obsidian iPhone 17 Pro but I also use a Google Pixel 9 with same vault. Around 17k files and maybe 6 plugins.

I don't use any plugins that run their own index (e.g. Dataview, Omnisearch, etc their indexing kills startup time).

But even if you use one of those plugins, Obsidian 1.10 added a feature that defers plugin loading so you can start writing immediately.

@obsidian Will it be possible to configure an individual widget to use a specific vault? I think it would be nice to be able to open a daily note widget in a "journal" vault & then use a create note widget in a "notetaking" vault. 🤔
